Kids of Immigrants: Create, Empower and Love
A fashion movement founded by Daniel Buezo and Weleh Dennis, Kids of Immigrants is a street style brand fusing culture and fashion. Their style aims to recognize that while we are cut from different fabrics we make a whole. As first generation American designers, their clothing is a statement to the new face of what it means to be American.
A series of projects featuring different themes offers jackets and tops in vibrant colors with deconstructed fabrics and exquisite attention to detail. The concept of love and peace is found across their clothing, whether painted on or stitched in, it is a motif blazing across hoodies, sweaters, pants, jackets and t-shirts. With the core idea of freedom to love, create and empower each piece is individually 'chosen, deconstructed, repurposed and remastered' to reflect the true energy of freedom without barriers.
With the slogans of 'Support your Friends' and 'Immigrants Love', KOI is an up and coming label set to break barriers in street style clothing and a new era of conscious fashion.
